Crinoid Shrimp (Periclimenes amboinensis)

Cronoid shrimps come in a wide range of colors that match their hosts coloration. The examples here show how well their colors match. The shrimp form a commensal relationship with crinoids (Feather Stars).
Crinoids are a type of Echinderm that live on reefs around the Indo-Pacific. A number of other organisms have evolved to live on the crinoids – small crabs, fish and other critters.
