I currently live in Oakland, CA. I've been interested in photography for many years, especially underwater and nature imagery. I've recently been exploring more urban locations in the Bay Area to streetch my imagination and techniques.I also maintain a Flikr account where you can comment on images if you wish.

Equipment and Software
I use a variety of Nikon lenses and the D200 digital camera body. I also have older film cameras, but I haven't used film in years (guess I should ditch those sometime).
For underwarer images I use an Ikelite housing with D125 strobes. These work great together and cost a fraction of the aluminium housing from suppliers such as Aquatica and Subal. The notable downside is the erganomics of the Ikelite housings, they are not as refined (and once in a while clunky). I don't believe anyone could tell what housing was used to take a photograph though - the final images from the different manufacturere prodcuts are of equal quality.For image processing and editing I use Photoshop CS5, Nik software plugins such as Silver Efex Pro and Vivenza, Photomatix for HDR work and Adobe bridge for image soring and previews.
